Triangular sandpaper sheet PS22K

PS 22 K Sanding Sheets are primarily designed for use with hand sanders that have triangular backing pads and an appropriate hook-and-loop fastening layer. They are available in a wide range of grits. This universal abrasive material can be used for both coarse and fine sanding of materials such as:

Abrasive grain: semi-open coating of synthetic aluminum oxide

The PS 22 K abrasive disc from Klingspor ensures optimal sanding performance. It features a semi-open coating. This type of coating leaves enough empty space between the abrasive grains to allow efficient removal of dust and chips when sanding wood or metal, minimizing clogging of the disc surface.
Aluminum oxide is durable, hard, and has an irregular, crystalline structure. Like all other types of abrasive grains used by Klingspor, it is synthetically produced. This guarantees consistently high quality in our products.

Outer layers: paper backing (E-weight paper) and synthetic resin top bonding

The backing of the triangular sheets and sanding discs PS 22 K is made by Klingspor from stable, medium-weight E-class paper. Depending on the weight, paper backings are marked with letters from A (lightweight) to G (heavyweight). The abrasive grain is affixed to the backing with a base bonding layer. In addition, the PS 22 K sheets and discs have a synthetic resin top layer, which ensures a firm bond of the abrasive grain to the backing—resulting in excellent sanding performance.
